This Privacy Policy explains how GPU AUDIO INC. ("GPU Audio", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit gpu.audio or contact us through it.

1. Who we are

GPU AUDIO INC., a corporation incorporated under the laws of Delaware, United States, with offices at 8 The Green, Suite #13360, Dover, DE 19901, United States, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@gpu.audio.

2. What we collect

  • Contact form: your full name, job title, email address, company, the topic you select and your message.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
  • Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type, device information and request times so the pages can be delivered and protected from abuse.
  • Correspondence: anything you send us by email.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and please do not send it to us.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer your inquiry and follow up on a potential business relationship. Legal basis under the GDPR: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
  • To send our newsletter, if you signed up. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To run, secure and protect the website and its forms against spam and abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To comply with legal obligations. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

4. Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Webflow, Inc. (United States): website hosting and form handling.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): Turnstile spam protection on our forms, which checks browser signals to confirm a human is submitting.
  • Vimeo, Inc. (United States): video playback. Videos load in Vimeo's do-not-track mode.
  • Our email service provider: delivering the newsletter to subscribers.

We may also share data with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

5. International transfers

GPU Audio is based in the United States, so your data is processed there. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where a provider is certified.

6. How long we keep it

  • Inquiries: as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Technical data: for the short periods our hosting and security providers need to deliver and protect the site.

7. Cookies

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site only uses technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver its pages and protect its forms, and embedded videos load in Vimeo's do-not-track mode. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

8. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you live in a U.S. state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@gpu.audio. We will reply within one month and may need to verify your identity first. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every email.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

10. Children

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
